The Approach to Your Projects
The (sometimes) six steps to success.
This is the approach I take when designing something for you or your organization. The steps emphasize individual attention to your needs, ensuring that the finished product will be exactly what you intend it to be.
1 :: Consultation
The first and most crucial phase -- this is where I meet with you and discuss your needs, the project's target audience, and any specifics you have concerning the final outcome. Each project is different, and each client is special to me, so this first phase helps to shape my vision of what you want.
2 :: Drafting
During this phase, I'll come up with a few concept designs and give input on what I think can be done to fulfill your needs. From there you can provide feedback and help us get closer to a final design. Once a final design has been green-lighted, it's ready to be produced.
3 :: Development
This is probably the most fun phase for me. The development phase means that I get to drink lots of coffee and start to work on what I do best: create. Bit by bit, I'll arrange the project to your specifications, paying special attention to the details.
4 :: Approval
This phase is actually a series of events that encircle you checking on progress and finally the finished work, providing feedback if something is amiss. Once you're assured that everything is done right, it is ready to be deployed.
5 :: Deployment
The next phase of our approach consists of a project's "debut". For websites, this means that they will go "live" online, and open to visitors.
6 :: Marketing
This phase only applies to websites. Getting the word out, listing your site, generating buzz, it's all the final step. Having something on the web won't necessarily generate you visitors, so I'll work towards getting your site ranked highly on search engines, as well as attempt to have your site linked to from other places on the web.
